During this course, you’ll benefit by:

  • Understanding the accounting equation and the relationship among its components
  • Learning how various business transactions affect financial statements
  • Describing accrual basis accounting and differentiating between accounting profit and cash flow
  • Describe the purpose of and terminology associated with the following financial statements: income statement or profit and loss statement (P&L), balance sheet, statement of retained earnings and cash flow statement
