Overview

Now Is the Time to Build Your Professional Contact Network

Change happens at an extremely rapid pace. In order to survive these challenges, you need to develop a broad, deep and diverse network of personal connections.

Beyond merely widening the circle of people you know, strong networks foster deeper learning and broaden your exposure across a range of issues. Effective investments in your networks can make you smarter, more knowledgeable, and better grounded, as well as a more agile learner and collaborator.

And when you’re out of work, your network becomes your career lifeline.

What You Will Learn

Obviously, the Internet has greatly increased our capacity to connect and network 24/7/365.

In turn, this requires an entirely new understanding about personal networks and how to leverage them to accomplish your objectives. Join us for this enlightening talk, which will explore:

  • How to determine your networking quotient and map your existing network
  • Steps you can take now to improve the quality of your network
  • The value of developing your own “Personal Board of Directors”
  • Ways to leverage online networking resources like LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Understanding the value of your personal brand
  • And much, much more.

Your network isn't nearly as valuable if you only begin to use it when you’re out of a job and looking for a new one.

The positive outcome derived from having a strong, vibrant, diverse network cannot be overstated.
The time to start is now, and this Webcast provides you with a great opportunity to find out how.
