Key Ingredients for Paving the Way to Your Success

In troubled times everyone is wondering what will happen next and how it will impact their job. One thing is certain, those who will fare best will have developed the ability to communicate and network with lots of people who can make a difference in their career.

Although it seems obvious that talking about your goals with people is better than keeping silent and hoping things will work out—we all know how difficult that can be.

Research has shown that fear of failure, exposure to criticism from others, and other concerns are powerful deterrents.

Unfortunately, those who believe that the quality of their work will speak for itself are not typically rewarded as well as those who openly communicate their value, skills, and aspirations.
