Demographic Changes That Will Affect Your Bottom Line
The composition of U.S. society is changing rapidly. In fact, we are in the midst of a demographic evolution so deep and wide that nearly every aspect of our political, economic and social fabric will be impacted.
What that means is that it will affect your markets, product development, customers and possibly most of all, your workforce.
This Webcast features a lively discussion about these changes, focuses on issues of concern and offers some suggestions on what you should be doing now. Here’s some of what we’ll discuss:
Kenneth W. Gronbach is a highly regarded futurist, demographer and generational marketing expert. Gronbach is a much sought after keynote speaker and consultant. His perspectives are common sense, long term, very macro and very big picture. In a world where important decisions are diminished by shortsighted goals and quarterly reports, this caliber of accurate insight is an anomaly. As leader of KGC Direct, he is internationally recognized for his uniquely accurate theories and his capability for predicting and forecasting marketing and societal phenomenon. He is the author of numerous publications, including the books The Age Curve: How to Profit from the Coming Demographic Storm, and Common Census: the Counter-Intuitive Guide to Generational Marketing.
Art Koff is president and CEO of Retired Brains. He started his career with the Chicago Sun Times and then spent 31 years with national and international advertising agencies. After "retiring" he helped develop and market one of the first automated job-posting systems. He also helped build a suite of over 1,000 niche sites focused on recruiting. As a consultant and writer for the past 10 years, he has helped clients develop cost effective strategies primarily by using the Internet to reach seniors and minorities. Koff makes presentations at local, national and international association meetings and at conventions and trade shows. In addition, he is a quoted authority on new developments in national publications and the Web that affect seniors and retirees.
Tony Pell is president and a founder of GHIF. His background is in corporate development, project management and startups of innovative private sector companies. With Andrew Caplin, he helped develop GHIF's Housing Partnership Program to lower the home affordability threshold for lower income households. He is also working with Elliott Dubin to create an econometric model that measures the direct and multiplier impact of housing construction on national economies. As a publisher, Pell helped create a specialized periodical for a venture capital firm.
