Now's the time to learn what’s new in the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Program. A joint government-business initiative, C-TPAT was designed to build cooperative relationships that will strengthen international supply-chain and U.S.-border security.
C-TPAT member-certified importers, carriers, brokers, warehouse operators, and manufacturers work together to ensure the integrity of their security practices, communicate their security guidelines to business partners within the supply chain and verify the guidelines of those partners.
Love it or hate it, C-TPAT is here to stay. The bottom line is that all managers in the supply chain need to know and understand C-TPAT.
In this Webcast, Rennie Alston and Tom Cook will explain the ins and outs of C-TPAT compliance. You’ll discover:
- Overview of Post-9/11 Security and Compliance Issues in Global Supply Chains
- Documentation, Valuation, HTSUS, Record Keeping
- Summary of Government Regulations/U.S. Customs (CBP)
- C-TPAT/Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism
- Maximizing Technology Capabilities
- Managing Service Providers
- Developing SOPs, Training and Education
