AMA recognizes 50-year Member Mark Domowne,
an attendee at the 80th Anniversary Forum at the award luncheon.
Mr. Domowne received a special certificate
and a collection of AMA merchandize.
Mr. Domowne, a management consultant, told
the group what prompted his initial association with AMA:
“I had a job that had no future. People were promoted
based not on performance but on office politics. I decided
to start my own company, and AMA was available with programs
and books and other products to help me build my company.
I read that there were a number of mistakes that people make
as entrepreneurs, but I was able to avoid those mistakes because
of AMA. It offered all the information I needed to be a success.”
