Overview

Do You Want to Be a Bad Boss?

Yeah, me too! And guess what, I AM! Now, for the first time ever, I’m sharing my easy step-by-step approach to alienating, infuriating and demoralizing the people you lead!

It’s fun!

Join me, Gil Kaggis, as I share the secrets to my success in this tell-all AMA webinar!

This high-energy session explores the real-world business challenges of bad leadership through the lenses of two experts: Gil Kaggis, a fictional business guru and a self-taught leadership expert (played by Bob Kulhan) and Bob Kulhan, a Chicago-trained elite improv veteran, Adjunct Professor at Duke Fuqua, Author of Getting to "Yes And": The Art of Business Improv, and Founder and CEO of Business Improv® (also played by Bob Kulhan).

Bob will demonstrate the tenets of improvisation and how they can be used to improve communication in an incredibly entertaining and thought-provoking way.

You’ll discover how Business Improv® techniques strengthen a skill set directly related to team communication, collaboration, building trust, influence, alignment, conflict management, and creating a culture of acceptance.

Bob’s secret recipe combines the psychology behind decision-making with the very best aspects of Business Improv’s customized, high-energy, experiential learning, which drives measurable and sustainable results.

About the Presenters

Bob Kulhan is President, CEO, and Founder of Business Improv, an innovative consultancy that specializes in experiential learning and serves an international roster of blue-chip firms. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and Columbia Business School. A performer with over 23 years of stage credits, he has trained with a long list of legendary talents, including Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. His work has been featured by such outlets as CNN, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, the Financial Times, Slate, and the Wall Street Journal. He is the author of Getting to “Yes And…”: The Art of Business Improv.

Gil Kaggis was born the son of a poor artisanal cheese maker. His first job after college was selling bacon, soap, and lard for the Bacon, Soap & Lard Company. Gil then quit sales to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He found little success as an actor but got the idea to teach public speaking. In his first session, he had run out of material in 6 minutes. Improvising, he suggested that students speak about “something that made them angry,” and discovered that his program made everyone angry. He also discovered that unbridled rage made speakers unafraid to address a public audience. Kaggis had tapped into the average American’s desire to have more self-confidence. By 1994, he was earning $1,500 every week delivering the Gil Kaggis Course. He is also an author with the first collection of his writings Five Hints to Better Brainstorming Sessions, having sold almost 200 copies worldwide. His crowning achievement, however, was his 14th self-published book titled Empathetic Leadership: Getting to the Heart of People with Heart. The book was a bestseller in the Falkland Islands in its 47th re-write.
