Our instructor Joe is thoroughly knowledgeable about the subject material; he engaged the class throughout both days and seamlessly facilitated teamsmanship among participants. He also made learning the material fun.
The training class was excellent.
Very helpful in my roll as Admin for our PMO office
The content was relevant and the exercises kept me engaged.
Enthusiastic instructor, I learned quite a bit.
Rem is Excellent teacher, most of the material covered I can take back to my job
This course was wonderful with lots of great key lessons learned. I also loved how it’s very engaging and not a sit down class.
David was able to share content with great relevant examples.
The course was very informative, well-paced, and covered relevant topics.
Course was a good overview of project management topics. Interactive sessions help with understanding the material.
Clear and concise - very applicable lessons for Non project-manager related work as well.
The course was what i expected. I am looking forward in taking a follow up.
Was the best on-line training that I have taken
Mike was excellent. Very knowledgeable with lots of real world examples.
lots of sharing with group and smaller teams to discuss each step of the course
Course was great- helped me to understand different roles and responsibilities, and also terminology that is currently used.
Instructor was knowledgeable and covered content well
very intitutive and detailed course
I did not anticipate as much depth. It helped arm me with the tools and resources I need to be a more effective core member of a PM team.
Good materials, communication, and pace
It was particularly helpful to learn the foundational basics/ theory of project management. The course materials and group activities helped me apply the curriculum to real-life situations.
Well taught with great information - very practical.
More in depth than i expected. A great overview of project management.
Our instructor was well versed on the subject matter. Everything was clear as water, i only wish i would've received a box of gold stars for some of my answers.
Lynn was super helpful and the class was great as an interactive introduction into project management
The facility is very nice (clean, professional looking). The staff members are also very nice, efficient, and professional. For the price of the course, I would think that AMA could afford to provide a lunch or, at the very least, a continental breakfast. Coffee, tea, and juice, while nice to have, is insufficient, I think.Lynn is very nice, sweet, very knowledgeable, and a very good instructor who can convey the information to the students well. However, while she is very positive/encouraging with answers from students, I would have liked for her to also provide negative feedback on answers that are not exactly what she's looking for. I think she is not comfortable with providing constructive criticism (this is necessary for critical thinking by the students) due to fear of hurting their feelings.Cell phone use: I wished that Lynn had stated, at the beginning of the course, that there's no cell phone use during class. If someone really needs to use the phone, they may leave the room. It was annoying to me (pet peeve of mine) and VERY disrespectful to Lynn when a number of students often times texted during her lectures (and not even discreetly). This was my first AMA seminar. Overall, it was a great experience and I will take another course down the road.
Lynn was amazing. I really did learn a lot from her. I would recommend her for this type of class.
Nice introduction to the concept, and the information seemed adequate. More information on specific examples and exercises would be better.
Instructor was very thorough with each lesson and very knowledgeable on the subject. Great personality.
Great course a lot of information seeing how to adapt concepts into current company practices.
Very engaging, lots of team activities that were really good.
Lauri did such a wonderful job leading this course. She provided details on general good business practices too. A+
VERY interactive course. Great introduction to project management! I will use tools and skills I learned from course in my future work.
Lauri was excellent. She covered the material in the module , but also imparted a great deal of practical experience to make the information real-world relevant.
I really enjoyed Lauri's class. Lauri is a wonderful teacher, she really captivates the audience. The content was relevant and helpful, it was delivered in an enthusiastic way, unlike many of the classes I have attended before. Lauri really got all of the teams working together well. I would take another class, if Lauri is teaching it.
Very good and tailored depending on audience.
Dave was a fantastic trainer. He tailored the course to the present group, which was pretty diverse and allowed for many opportunities to talk about the applications of project management skills across industries. He kept it fast paced but allowed plenty of time for questions and discussion. The course material was well thought out and covered a wide variety of project management skills and tools. The classroom was a little small, but we made it work. John, the facilitator, was very courteous and generous, and provided excellent suggestions for us out-of-towners: restaurant menus, maps, and ideas for activities.
Good content, well thought - very informed instructor.very interactive.Very nice administrator also.
Excellent class - well paced through early lessons - a lot of concepts in last 2 lessons which could have benefitted from being spread out a little more.
My instructor was the very well informed and cared about our learning outcomes. He gave relevant examples related to our various organizations and backgrounds.
Great instructor and fast paced.
Great material and presentation
Useful information, positive learning environment, experienced instructor.
Loved it! The way AMA lays out their courses are great and easy to follow/ understand. By far the smoothest and most intuitive online course I have ever taken.
Good information and content overall. Instructor's professional experience and credentials provided solid foundation for teaching plus valuable Q&A. Coursework from AMA included a poorly conceived case study that distracted from otherwise effective training.
Jason did a great job of walking our class through the literature and exercises. He made sure everyone ubderstood the concepts before moving forward.
I believe the training was beneficial and will absolutely help me going forward.
Denise was an excellent teacher and I came away with way more understanding of Project Management than I originally anticipated that I would receive.
I went in expecting to learn one thing, but I came out learning more things than I expected.
loved the presenter, she was very knowledgeable and engaging.
Very experienced teacher with lots of good information for all levels of PM.
It was a great course, with a great teacher, and a great group. This class was easy to follow, with enough practice to understand and be able to apply what we learn at work.
Kerby was very interesting and gave us a great practical approach. He has a great depth of knowledge/experience in his field and shared some great approaches with us. He kept the class fun and very informative. It was a great two days.
The curriculum is appropriate for those interested in PM, regardless of where they are in their career.
Wasn't very applicable to software project management.
Great instructive interaction with instructor and teams assignments. Excellent knowledge of material and application by instructor. A glossary of definitions would be helpful. There were two case studies that needed to be printed out but no prior notice was given.
Class wasn't particularly well suited for software / bay area tech folk. A lot of it was more structured for slow moving companies.
Instructor is very knowledgeable and explains material very clear.
It was very helpful. I will definitely take what I had learned and apply it at work.
The instructor was funny and quirky. He elicited a lot of response from us and really held our interest
Instructor was great! Very informative and engaging. I was am excited to return for another of her classes.
Lisa was very knowledgeable and had great real-world experience. She led the class very well. The books we had were misprinted, so some were missing pages and some had extra pages, but she immediately emailed the person in charge of printing to correct the error.
The material flowed and stayed on track with the course objectives. The group exercises were a good experience as well.
This class was excellent for people who are PM or work on projects as PM.
Bettye Jo W.
This is my 5th webinar class and Stephany was the best instructor I have experienced. She has the art of bringing everyone into the class as if they are her PM team with acknowledgments and taking teaching opportunities with each question. She was organized, gave real-life examples to apply the information, managed the time meticulously, and consistently threaded the course content into the 4 days. It was seamless! As a beginner, Her skill gave me confidence that I could work with PM opportunities, and encouraged my inquiry into the art of project management more.
Competancy of the instructor both technical in the field and ability to teach was the most important part of the success of this course.
I felt the instructor was excellent. Her depth of knowledge, classroom presence, pace of the presentations and her engaging personality all made the class interesting and enjoyable.
Very helpful and professional
The class was interactive with good content - could have stood to breeze over the ground work a little more and focus or cut to the more in depth items. We didn't use or go through the whole workbook. I did find the interactive activities as it relates to real life events helpful.
Excellent Instructor, real world project management
I really enjoyed the detailed approach he took to teach the class. I can tell David has a vast amount of knowledge and it was a pleasure for him to share it.
instructor was engaged, involved group, and good grasp of the material
This class was very helpful and informational. The Instructor was very knowledgeable. Looking forward to another class.
Speaker is passionate and a subject matter expert on the topic. Speaker effective in relating content to current occupations.
Informative course for a beginner in project management
The instructor was excellent and extremely knowledgeable
Great content, great instructor......
Sherolyn was very knowledgeable on all aspects of Project management that we covered. She was also engaging, and had a lot of personal experience to speak on.
Sherolyn was extremely motivating and kept it interactive and fun! She was extremely helpful and personable- fabulous personality and extremely knowledgeable.
Instructor was extremely knowledgeable and engaged. She tailored materials to each individual work situation/project. All instructions should learn from her.
Great Class. Instructor kept me focused and kept the class on target with each module.
Awesome class and very engaging.
The content of this seminar was great and can be applied to anyone in a management role.
Stan was an excellent training instructor. He covered the materials appropriately for people engaged in project management at our levels, he stimulated interesting discussions, and was able to relate personal experiences to further enhance the training.
I found the instructor very knowledgeable about Project Management. I found the course to be very valuable. There was some work going on in the vicinity of the room for a short period one of the days that I found to be very distracting.
The teacher made this class very focused but not uptight. His patience, professionalism and knowledge base was evident.
Was expecting more out of the class. Training focused on a very basic introduction to management.
It was a good overview of Project Management and it's principles.
As the Facilitator was very knowledgeable with real world experience, it was a very good two (2) day training session.
The hands-on group assignments were great to facilitate learning.
There did seem to be some activities and questions we skipped and I think those would have been helpful to cover as well.
Instructor was awesome, very professional, articulate, and enthusiastic; her energy kept me engaged!
Great instructor, she was very knowledgeable and engaged. Also enthusiastic and up beat personality. Lots of information provided and well explained.
Sharon is so knowledgeable; it showed throughout her delivery of the course.
This was very informative for a Non project manager. Lots of key points to use during this seminar!
I loved the interaction with the class, it felt like a small college class and I Loved that! Joe was excellent. He's had a lot of experience and was a great teacher. The only thing I wish would have been added is actually understanding some of the tips and tricks of Microsoft project and how to use it. I've used it a bit before but I've never built my own Project within it, I've only opened it to see other people's project input. Overall , I loved the class and i'll be referring to my notes and the text book throughout my career.
It was very good. I liked the group activities. There wasn't a lot of power point and book learning. I would have liked a little more in depth explanation on topics, however the group activities help supplement and demonstrate the material. The instructor went a little fast, we only had 2 days to get through a lot of material.
The instructor was fantastic, the content and structure of the course was great, and I really appreciate the printed course materials.
Excellent training that will definitely translate into my workplace. Wish we could have had a little more time to explore some concepts in more depth. One facility level suggestion is not limit your news coverage on the monitors to CNN. I have found that CNN is unreliable for real journalism, and it would be more fair to offer alternatives. Otherwise, the facility is comfortable and conducive for learning.
Overall, Fantastic course! The information on project management was extremely valuable and very timely for me! To improve the course further I would just suggest two things:1. Extend the course to 3 days. There is so much information to share, extending the course by one day would add even more value.2. Increasing the number of group activities would be helpful. There were a few that we were not able to do at the end due to time constraints. Extending the course by one day would enable and even more comprehensive understanding of the Basics of Project Management.
I thought the class was real life events and how to apply project management in your work setting.
I've learned so much in this class. Just wish it was longer.
He has deep knowledge and very good at explaining high level PM Principles
It was a very interactive group. Great material, instructor was awesome!
Received valuable information.
Stan kept us engaged and interested in the class. Him walking around the class really helped us pay attention.
Course provided a basic overview of project management. I would have appreciated more real world knowledge and specific experiences shared by the instructor. The instructor also had his own slides which were very informational, but did not match those provided in the coursebook, this made it frustrating and hard to follow since he never stated his slides were different. Also, the chair arm rests did not lower so they often hit the table edge which was distracting. I like the layout of the room - it made group activities very quick and easy.
I thought the subject matter was covered very well. The Instructor Stan was amazing with his approach to instruction. He was very thorough and went above and beyond the Book giving our group "real life" situations.
The class was very good. The instructor was also very good.
EXCELLENT IN DETAIL. GREAT FOR A REFRESHER AND PERFECT FOR A BEGINNER
Class was on-point and focused on real-world application.
Instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions or concerns the class presented to her. She correlated the class material with actual situations pertaining to each class member's work environment. The instruction and activities provided will definitely be helpful for future projects required for my work place.
Trainer was very knowledgeable of the subject.
Excellent course for the Non-Project Manager!!!
The instructor, Kirby was excellent. He was a great teacher and I learned so much from his course. He is so personable and really knows what he is doing. Couldn't have asked for a better class. He takes the time to answer questions, has you use real life scenarios so you understand and also encourages every one to get involved and communicate in the class without pressuring anyone.
Course provided a lot of good strategies & tips for working in the role of a project manager.
Enjoyed the class learned a lot. The course leader kept us engaged.
Gene is an excellent instructor
Discussed 'real world' topics, problems, and answers. This makes it easier to walk in to work and begin to use the processes right away.
Excellent instructor! He shared stories that relate to the material and help to increase your understanding and how to apply it to your project. He is very knowledgeable about the subject, kept good pace and has a great sense of humor!
I thought gene did a great job ofKeeping us engaged and keeping it interesting. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because I would have liked more real world examples and tips than just theory. This may actually be an issue with the curriculum, not the instructor.
I really enjoyed the class!!
Great seminar, helpful materials and great examples.
loved the structure, and getting to work on a real situation throughout the entire process.
Good overview of project management. Instructor was engaging and very knowledgeable.
Great Information. Enjoyed the team exercises.
I thought the instructor was knowledgeable, however I felt that he could have explained the tasks better before we got started. I was dissatisfied with the group I was assigned to. I thought the project idea that came from my group could have been thought out better.
I really liked the training format and the ability to participate in multiple activities with team mates.
Joe made the two day seminar a great learning experience and engaged the attendees with valuable working exercises.
I really enjoyed the instructor, he was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged.
The training was interactive and relevant to my work.
I thought the class was very good. Joe was excellent and kept the class interesting. Everyone in the group participated.
Instructor was engaging and worked at a comfortable pace for everyone to comprehend his knowledge of the subject matter. Exercises are well thought out and provide real world examples of the challenges we as professionals will experience back in our work environments.
The content of the course was good but the organization was very poor. Class began 2 hours late due to the instructor not showing up. When a new instructor was found, we were informed that she had never taught the class and was not fully qualified to give the class so the original instructor conference-called into the class. He did not call in on the second day.
The course provided lots of great information and techniques. It was interactive and easy to follow. I thought it was presented very well.
It was a great course and the staff was very knowledgeable.
I really liked the faculty led training session and found helpful insights to manage my projects in a more efficient manner. Moreover, I enjoyed the group activities that gave a flavor of the real activities involved in project management and emphasized on the importance of communication and willingness to learn from other team members.
Great course, liked the mixture of lecture and practical application
Most lessons were interactive which helped me retain most of the information.
more info than I was expecting.Thank you
The right information at the right level (for those of us who are not "project managers" for a living). I was able to immediately apply the lessons to my own work. Sharon kept us engaged, and walked us through each phase of project management in a consistent, easy to understand manner.
I thought Sharon, our instructor, was very good, but there is a large amount of info squeezed into two days.
Content was very enlightening, presentation style was a little dry and slow at times. Slides and content covered did not always line up with material in seminar workbook. Not all activities in the book covered, some slides and points covered were not in workbook, hard to follow for this reason
I wish that we had done more of the activities in the book or were given an updated manual. A very large portion of the presentation was not mirrored in our manual.
Stanley is an incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and thorough instructor. He ensured that everyone's expectations were met and that everyone left the class with the tools they need to manage projects successfully.
The Instructor was very thorough and knowledgeable in the subject matter. Great use of class involvement that required us to participate constantly. I would recommend this instructor to conduct future courses with AMA. Excellent course.
It was intense but very educative and informing.
Got a lot our of the one on one interaction due to the small class and was able to relate a lot of the training to real world situations
I felt that the materials provided could have been a little better in explaining the process of a project from start to finish
Great 2 days!!!
Great Presentation, Gene kept everyone in the class engaged.
Joe knew how to adjust to class needs.
Very informative for a short class
Gene was very knowledgeable. Not only did he go through the manual, but he also added color or examples to make the material come alive. He also engaged the class and was open to every question and our experience.
I really enjoyed the course - it was informative, entertaining and great to be able to talk with other attendees in such an interactive way.
The instructor was very knowledgeable on Project Management and shared her experiences. The facilitator was right on queue when help was needed.
I think the information in the class was indeed helpful and it filled in a lot of blanks for me. The first project I was thrown into I took over from a PM who could not get the project off the ground. My personality is to get thing moving but my role is not a PM, so it was nice to become more informed on the tools and roles.
First online training like this for me and it was very good.
Patricia was amazing! She knew how to keep the students involved.
Patricia (Instructor) has got to be one of the best facilitators that I have had the opportunity to work with. She does a great job in keeping the group engaged & understanding/summarizing what is/was communicated
Gene is a good teacher -- he paces appropriately, he lightens the feel of the class with ancillary materials that are humorous but very appropriate to the subject matter, and he has tons of personal experience from which to draw relevant examples and teaching moments.
It was a great introduction and overview into project management
Thoroughly enjoyed this seminar. I will be able to take many of the discussion points and apply them to managing projects. I appreciated Gene's style - warm, genuine, smart, humorous and provided many real world applications to the concepts we covered.
Joe was wonderful and his expertise was top notch. The interactive projects were very helpful.
Training was excellent. Materials and flow of class went well.
Content was so valuable and instructor was fantastic.
Very good introductory course for the new project manager as well as the non-project manager
Great information and useful resources
Very knowledge, engaged the seminar attendees
Overall the content covered was helpful to give a good overview of the project management process and the steps needed to successfully manage a project. The example scenario provided that all activities were based off of was a little hard to conceptualize at times for certain activities. It may have been helpful to have a selection of scenarios to choose from so we could select one that have been a bit more inline with our current type of projects we work on. Also, it may have been nice if a few of the activities were done with the full group in order to get more perspectives as opposed to just the thoughts of those in the individual group. The course as a whole though was good and provided enough information to understand the steps that need to be taken from start to finish and will help me feel more confident in my role and to take on more project management responsibilities.
Good confirmation of practices already used but also new overall ideas. It's a large book for a small amount of time, plus the slides didn't match those in the book.
Great course. Instructor was very engaging
This training was a great introduction to project management. Rob was an excellent trainer with very detailed, specific and relatable examples. Overall excellent class!
Objectives were clear and concise and content was helpful for my career development. I enjoyed the specific examples/stories told throughout the course.
I thought Rob was a very knowledgeable instructor
although I was the most "junior" person attending this training, it was a great overall experience for me to understand the basic fundamentals of project management.
Instructor was patient and had a good sense of humor which made learning the material fun.
Best AMA instructor I have had. Extremely knowledgeable with great delivery
Great instructor and good intro course.
Great instructor with applicable practical experience and examples
I really enjoyed having Rob as an instructor. His real life examples helped put things in perspective.
I feel the training was very helpful. There were a lot of group activities performed, some helpful some not so much. I feel a lot of teaching time was wasted by building a helicopter or making a tall structure out of index cards. I think the instructor could have gotten his points across of changes occur during a project more efficiently than a half hour activity. I would have preferred a bit more teaching than all of these abstract exercises. More focus on how you schedule, the tools you could use, or the different kinds of reporting you could do would have been a better use of time.
Ai Na L.
It was interesting and informative. However, most of the project management tools/forms seem to be directed for those who run formal projects or have time to create all those documentation - not those who might have 10-30 minutes free to "run" a project.
Instructor was amazing and he customized the course around the needs of the attendees. There were a lot of takeaways I will be able to apply in the projects I am involved with in my job.
Great course - Kept me totally engaged. Great introduction
I wish we'd had more time to go deeper on some subjects. But my overall experience was really good.
I learned some new things in this training and how to better apply some of the skills I already have.
Overall the class is what it stated, an overview of the PM process. I think an assumption was made that the attendees had lead/ worked on or been part of projects. I'm not certain that this was the case. I know I've only been involved in one (which I'm leading).
Joe was great! The stories/examples and the team exercises made the class very interesting.
This was one of the best training classes I have taken.
Great hand on class time!
Joe prepared a very focused and concise introduction to the concept. Taught mainly through team work exercises, the material was highly instructive and practically useful.
Wonderful instructor and interactive training!
This is an excellent seminar for people with zero exposure to PM.Because I have oversight of projects that are being managed by others, I thought this would be useful but I already knew a lot of what was covered. The book is useful and being able to discuss case studies was also helpul.
Very engaging teacher with practical applications for sometimes complicated subject matter.
This course provided the optimum mix of detail and overview for a two-day period. Denise Webster's extensive background in the real world assisted greatly in providing an understanding of practical application. She also made the course fun and addressed individual participant needs without taking away from the overall message of the course.
Kelly Jo P.
Denise was extremely knowledgeable, and is an excellent trainer. She simplified the lesson and delivered it with wit and sometimes a little humor. She kept the class interested and engaged.
Great class and great instructor
Topic was well covered. Would help to have current hand-out of slides presented during course instead of putting the responsibility on the attendees to email the instructor for an electronic copy of the slides after the class has finished. Also, Stan moved around a lot - walked behind your seat which made it hard to pay attention without spinning around in the seat all of the time. It would have been nice if he could stay in front of the group or at the applicable easels.
It is an excellent idea, but not without hitches of technology. I had problems of connection, my password had to be changed over and over again. But I learnt a lot, because I down loaded the slides before the lectures began.
Too much overall audio issues
I learned a lot of valuable information that is applicable to my job and the work I've been doing. The class was engaging and helped me better understand the value of successful project management.
Sharon was a great instructor, engaged and answered all our questions.
It was a great course which introduced me to different tools and techniques that will surely help me in my day to day at work.
This seminar completly changed my mind in terma of PM activities and really got me onterested on learning more on the subject.
The instructor was knowledgeable but seemed a bit unorganized when there were some really good slides with great information that was not included in the documentation he provided.
Kirby was fantastic! I had signed up for this course to learn more about a possible new career and walked away feeling like I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. This course was definitely worthwhile.
Very informative and cohesive.
The course focused heavily on the principals outlined in the Project Management Institute's PMBOK. However, the course material did not include a copy of the PMBOK (a $60 book) instead it was a spiral bound printout of some of the outlines and an outdated version of the Power Point Slides. It would have been much more helpful to have had even a flash drive of the slides that were presented (to use as a future reference) than the spiral binder that was provided. For an almost $2,000 two day seminar, I expected a little more. Next time I would consider taking a course directly from PMI as it seems that this course is basically following all of their guidelines and their courses are cheaper.
This course went above and beyond my expectations for content and participation possibilities. I learned about terminology, was provided with charts and templates that will be very useful in future projects. The trainer did an excellent job of engaging with trainees. The course time went quickly due to opportunity to work in groups during the lecture to practice what was taught. I am grateful for the post-seminar access to slides and "Tune-Up" material I can use as refresher/reminders of what I learned during the seminar.
Excellent material and excellently delivered. I learnt a whole lot.
It was helpful to use one case study throughout the class. It helped us clarify & practice as we learned each step.
Overall, a great introduction into the world of Project Management. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn the basic terms and processes of Project Management.
Well run seminar and the instructor made the class interesting by sharing personal and real-world experiences on the topics under discussion. Kept us involved by breaking the students into working groups when possible. This created a little friendly competition between the groups that turned out to be great motivator and learning tool.
I would highly recommend this seminar for anyone looking to become a Project Manager. It provides you with the basic procedures and terminology for project management which is crucial for this profession. If you are looking to become a Project Manager, this would definitely be a great start. If you are part of a Project team, the tools and information you will get out of this seminar will make you a much more valuable team member that will be able to contribute towards a successful project. Our instructor, Sharon, was also very passionate, knowledgeable and stayed on point which created a great learning experience.
Instructor Igor was fantastic.I was hoping for a more detailed scheduling course.
The instructor used a great balance of real life examples in conjunction with the slides to truly drive the lessons home. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.
Was a good HIGH level introduction/overview of project management, but was hoping for more in-depth tools that a non-project manager could still gain benefit from using and understanding.
No course introduction or descriptionNo outline of the Modules and what would be covered. The Case study was a poor choice for the "Project" we were to working on.Poor explanation of what we were to do for each group activity.Very disappointed.
Instructor new content very well but I felt like more material could have been covered. Class started late, took 75 minutes for lunch and ended more that an hour early on second day.
Course was fantastic, simplified the science of Project Management in a way that was so easy to understand. Highly recommend this course to anyone working managing projects.
Great overview for a Non-Project Manager!
Patricia was an excellent instructor. She was kind and patient in explaining things I didn't understand. The seminar was very detailed and the hands on exercises felt like real life scenarios. I appreciate how the instructor kept everyone engaged in the exercises. I recommend this seminar to anyone who has an interest or is in someway involved with Project Management.
I was very happy with the learning experiene that I recieved taking this course
seminar was excellent for providing structure, tools and guidelines on how to manage a project when you are a 'full time' project manager. Several of us in the class expected the seminar to teach 'non-project managers how to manage projects while also handling our regular jobs.
It was a worthwhile course. The breakout sessions were ok but we had folks in our group that didn't participate at all so two of us were left leading the group. I know there is no way around getting folks to participate but aside from that, I found the breakout sessions to be helpful with my other team member. The material was presented in a logical and organized manner and I appreciated hearing the personal experiences and stories the instructor had to share.
