I came away extremely disappointed with this seminar. this course came highly recommended to me by a colleague, but was a different instructor/different AMA location. there was no class structure, instructor didn't take time on day 1 to cover building, safety, exits, where restrooms are, etc. He couldn't hear well. So each time someone spoke, they had to repeat 2-3 times, or, even worse - someone would ask a question, but he couldn't hear that anyone was speaking so he would continue on, and therefore questions would go unanswered. We followed an AMA manual, however, instructor skipped a lot of pages, and only touched very high level on topics. We did only a couple group activities with others at our desks, otherwise, we were on our own the entire class and sat in the same seat - never moved around which made the 3 days go by very slowly - class seemed very monotonous. When giving feedback to questions or answers that were incorrect, he was not clear with his explanation, which often left the students puzzled as to what was right and wrong. He never really wanted to tell someone they were incorrect, so he would give other examples but ended up confusing many folks, from my observations - especially those in the class that don't know English as a first language.
