Tactics to Motivate Employees Discussed at AMA Government Conference; Stewart Liff provided insights on engaging and motivating employees at event

Stewart Liff, renowned government human resource and performance management expert, author and AMA Enterprise facilitator, provided insights on engaging and motivating employees at a recent AMA Enterprise Government Solutions briefing for government HR and Training and Development professionals in Arlington, VA.

 

The conference, titled, ‘Engaging and Motivating Government Employees,’ drew an audience of dedicated federal, military, state, and local HR and Training and Development professionals. The event was focused on providing attendees with effective, real world strategies for increasing employee engagement.

Mr. Liff covered topics such as: improving your results on the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey; the five-stage team development model; connecting teams around a sense of purpose; best practices in team design; managing performance; knowledge management; visual management; and dealing with difficult people.

 

Conference attendees shared their own experiences in dealing with difficult employees and facilitating team engagement and Mr. Liff outlined best practices, sharing real world success stories about connecting teams around a sense of purpose.
