Rudi Plettinx Appointed Managing Director of Management Centre Europe

American Management Association International (AMA) announces the appointment of Rudi Plettinx as Managing Director of Management Centre Europe (MCE), AMA’s European headquarters based in Brussels, Belgium.

Mr. Plettinx is a senior executive with more than 30 years’ experience in executive education, leadership development, management development, leadership consulting, culture and change management. AMA Executive Vice President Vivianna Guzman noted that Mr. Plettinx “is recognized as an exceptionally results- and people-orientated executive in the executive education and leadership consulting industry. He is creative, takes calculated risks and acts and thinks strategically."

Mr. Plettinx comes to MCE from the Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) in Brussels, where he was Vice President and Managing Director of EMEA.

From 1988 through 2000, Mr. Plettinx was Director of Markets and In-Company Training at MCE. He and his team implemented strategic management development initiatives with FT250 companies across Europe, opened the Nordic market and managed MCE’s General Management portfolio of workshops.

A native of Antwerp, Belgium, he completed his Master of Applied Economics at Universiteit Antwerpen in 1982. He speaks Dutch, French, and English.
