As signs of the economy continued to improve and hiring appear to be on the upswing, US employees were planning to take more time away from the office compared to 2003. twenty-eight percent of respondents were taking more days off than in 2003. About 55% were planning to take the same number of vacation days as last year. Also this year, the survey shows that while on vacation fewer employees would be contacting their office. Click here
