About the Presenters
Peter Gloor
has enjoyed a 20-year career as an executive for UBS, PwC, and Deloitte. He currently divides his time between the MIT Sloan School of Management, Helsinki University of Technology and the University of Cologne, where he teaches, leads research and writes. He is coauthor of Coolhunting: Chasing Down the Next Big
Vijay V. Vaitheeswaran
is an award-winning correspondent for The Economist. He joined the staff as the London-based Latin America Correspondent in 1992. He opened its first office in that region in Mexico City and served as bureau chief until 1997. Vijay is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and teaches at NYU’s Stern Business School.
Scott Cooper
a Research Affiliate at the MIT Sloan School of Management, works with technologists and social scientists on a wide variety of projects. His long corporate experience includes helping two leading information technology companies develop new strategic service business lines. He is coauthor of Coolhunting: Chasing Down the Next Big Thing.
