About the Presenter

Into the Storm.Haywood Spangler, Ph.D., is Director of Education at Leadership Metro Richmond. His work focuses on the application of ethical reasoning and critical thinking to executive functions, such as strategy, problem solving, decision making, and dilemma resolution. He created and holds the copywright to the Spangler Ethical Reasoning Assessment (SERA), a statistically reliable preference survey.

Dr. Spangler has nine years of nonprofit CEO Experience and has taught at the University of Virginia's McIntyre School of Commerce. He is an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University and has gradulate degrees from Yale University and  the University of Virginia.
