This course implements a “case study” approach—giving you practical, hands-on experience while you learn the core disciplines of ITIL best practices. After finishing this course, you’ll be well positioned to successfully complete the associated ITIL exam required for entry into the future ITIL intermediate-level training courses.

ITIL covers five core disciplines:

  • Continual Service Improvement

These disciplines represent the service lifecycle—a process which bridges the gap between business and IT services. With an understanding of these core disciplines, you will be able to demonstrate the business value and ROI of IT to business…and solve specific operational needs in the process.

This seminar includes handouts, practice sessions, quizzes, exam strategies, and test-taking tips—all of which will serve as great reference points once the class is completed. . The one-hour ITIL Foundation exam will be offered on the last day of class at 3:30 PM.

    Q: What time does my seminar begin and end?

    A: On the first morning, please arrive at 8:30 am to pick up your registration packet and room assignment. Seminars begin at 9:00 am and end at 5:00 pm, except on the last day. On the last day, seminars that run the full day begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:30 pm. Seminars that conclude with half day sessions end at 12:00 pm.

    Q: What should I wear?

    A: Casual business attire is appropriate. Note: room temperatures may vary so you may want to dress in layers. Travel and Accommodations

    A: AMA does not arrange hotel accommodations.     Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy

    For Classroom, Live Online, and Webinar programs, you may transfer to a future session, send someone to take your place or cancel without penalty at any time up to three weeks prior to your program. If you provide AMA with less than three weeks notice, or fail to attend, you will be liable for the entire program fee.

    Programs included in AMA OnDemand offerings are not eligible for substitution, transfer, cancellation, return, or refund.
