American Management
Association Names Lou Schuyler Chief Information Officer
NEW YORK American Management Association (AMA) has named Ms.
Lou Schuyler its new Chief Information Officer. Lou is responsible for
information technology initiatives and personnel throughout AMAs
United States operations.
Lou brings a wealth of knowledge and experience
from IBM and The McGraw-Hill Companies to American Management Association,
and I am delighted to have her join our team, said Edward T. Reilly,
AMAs president and CEO, in announcing her appointment. Lou
is an excellent listener, a logical thinker and a successful team builder.
In 24 years with IBM, Lou served in a variety of analytical,
technical and management positions, including systems programming, application
development, operations research, market research, forecasting and business
planning. She then held executive positions in the corporate and information
technology offices of The McGraw-Hill Companies including vice president
of technology for The McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Company. She went on to
launch a diverse and highly successful management consulting firm, Stone
Circle Consulting, Inc.
Lou graduated from Brown University in 1968 with an
ScB in Applied Mathematics and earned an MSE in Operations Research at
Columbia University in 1975. She is Secretary of the Westchester-Fairfield
Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants. She is a resident
of Larchmont, N.Y.
