AMA’s Executive Roundtable on “The B’s and C’s of e-Commerce”

November 10 at the New York Conference Center

New York, October 6, 2000—American Management Association will host an interactive, one-day workshop, on “The B’s and C’s of e-Commerce,” on Friday, November 10 at the AMA Executive Conference Center at 1601 Broadway in New York City.

This program is one of a series of roundtables AMA is conducting on “e-Business and Your Business: Strategies and Real-time Options” exclusively for its executive members.

This dynamic AMA series is led by Martin Focazio, a noted interactive strategist and trainer, who has advised many legacy firms on making the transition from “brick to click.” “There really is no such thing as “e-business,” comments Focazio, “it’s simply a key part of doing business today, not a separate function.” Focazio has developed successful online strategies for companies including AT&T, Colgate, IBM, General Motors, and Hyperion Software, and also works closely with numerous young Internet firms. The event will feature Special Guest Speaker Greg Dixon, Vice President, Internet Services Group, Crayola. Each session will feature a networking breakfast, catered luncheon, and Special Guest Speaker.

Two additional sessions in the “e-Business and Your Business” series are scheduled:

December 1, 2000: “The Organizational e-Curve: Managing the Mindset” will help attendees determine where their organization lies on the “e-curve” and how to progress to the next level. Special Guest Speaker will be Nora Mitchell, Manager, Interactive Communications, and Wind River Systems.

January 11, 2001: “Delivering on the 1-to-1 Promise of the Internet.” Learn how to increase competitive advantage by leveraging the Internet to manage customer relationships.
