AMA and KNOWHOW, Inc. Form Partnership

September 26, 2000—American Management Association and KnowHow, Inc. today announced the formation of a reseller agreement. The partnership will expand AMA’s e-learning course offerings while enabling KnowHow to leverage AMA’s established customer base and distribution channels. Approximately 50 AMA sales representatives have already been trained to sell KnowHow courses.

”KnowHow offers a wide range of high quality, off-the-shelf training courses, as well as the ability to tailor courseware to meet the enterprise needs of corporate customers," stated AMA senior vice president, Bob Fraulo, “so this partnership is a natural fit for us. Our intention is to offer every type of e-learning product through AMA, and agreements such as we have with KnowHow are a big part of this strategy.”

AMA is rapidly expanding the breadth of its e-learning course offerings. The organization has already formed strategic alliances with other content providers and is actively developing original titles based on its portfolio of over 200 management development courses. AMA plans to release new e-learning courses every month, as well as blended learning offerings that mix the best of its live seminars with the functionality of the Internet.

“To say we are absolutely delighted about this agreement with AMA would be a vast understatement," said Dan Ellis, vice president of sales, KnowHow, Inc. "AMA is a highly respected organization with tremendous reach and clout. We’re also pleased to be among the very few online training companies to be endorsed and sold by AMA.”
