American Management Association Opens New Executive Conference Center in Atlanta

ATLANTA, October 10, 2001—AMA has relocated its Executive Conference Center in Atlanta to a new site in the heart of midtown. The 23,000 square-foot facility is located in The Proscenium, a new commercial building at 1170 Peachtree and 14th Streets. It is situated nine miles from Hartsfield International Airport and one block from the Arts Center Station stop on MARTA, Atlanta’s commuter transport system.

The new center includes 10 meeting rooms and three break-out rooms with state-of-the-art technology, projection equipment and sound system, as well as a business center, lounge, refreshment area and offices. This facility can accommodate meetings for 15 to 120 people and is available to businesses.

“American Management Association has operated a conference center in Atlanta for more than 20 years, and we are pleased to have invested in this city’s business community,” said Edward T. Reilly, AMA’s president and CEO. “This year we will provide over 350 management training seminars and other business forums in our new facility. About 60 percent of our customers travel from outside of Georgia, helping to stimulate the local economy.”
