Step 6: Evaluation

Commiting to Action and results

The evaluation process is as much of a beginning as it is an end. While we may look back on a job well done, there is always room for improvement.

  • Did the participants enjoy the seminar and the instructor?
  • Did their knowledge of the subject increase?
  • Has their performance improved as a result?
  • How has their improved performance effected the bottom-line?

By asking the right questions, we gain the information needed to move forward.

Evaluation Concepts:

  • Reacton: Measure the impact of course content, and course leaders from the perspective of the participant.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Use pre-/post-assessments to measure the amount of knowledge transferred.
  • Performance: Use both informal and formal techniques to measure the impact training had on performance.
  • Return-On-Investment: We work with you to identify measures of success and develop the tools to capture critical data.

Continued Commitment:

'The AMA training program we offered to our Directors not only sharpened their management skills, it brought a new level of energy and commitment to management success. The feedback from employees was overwhelmingly positive-which confirmed in my mind that we had made the right decision. In the months since the training course, I have heard many examples of real world results.'
