Illinois CPA Society Selects American Management Association as a Preferred Education and Training Provider

The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) is expanding its professional development offerings to include management, leadership development, and other general business programs from American Management Association (AMA). The new agreement brings AMA’s comprehensive training solutions to ICPAS members.

ICPAS members can access AMA’s training programs directly through Knowledgehub, ICPAS’s innovative learning management system created in collaboration with the St. Charles Consulting Group. Knowledgehub is a comprehensive interactive online platform that brings together an extensive catalog of programs from preferred vendors. It offers more than 1,500 live and on-demand educational programs in one easy to navigate site.

Knowledgehub now includes nearly 150 AMA seminars in 20 subject areas, including management, leadership development, interpersonal and communication skills, project management, analytical skills, critical thinking, and finance. In addition to its multi-day Classroom and LXLSM Live Online Seminars, AMA has expanded its programs to include 1-Day Workshops and two-and-a-half-hour LXL Online Express Skills courses.

Knowledgehub also offers pre-defined or customized professional development plans, so ICPAS subscribers can tailor their own training to meet the specific needs of a job function or career path, and they can monitor and guide the development of their staff. The site also tracks compliance with CPE requirements.

AMA is an authorized provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and related credits from professional associations, including the National Association of State Board of Accountancy and the Institute of Management Accountants.
