 AMA’s
80th Anniversary Forum brought nearly 150 CEOs, presidents
and senior executives from across the country together with
some of today’s foremost thinkers and business practitioners
to discuss “Meeting the Challenges of Leadership.”
The group gathered at AMA’s New York
Executive Conference Center on November 20-21, 2003 to exchange
insights on a broad range of leadership topics, including
“Leading in Turbulent Times,” “Developing
the Voice of Leadership”, “Finding the Next Generation
Growth Strategy” and “Building Tomorrow’s
Leaders.”
The event included several award presentations—the
AMA Leadership Visionary Award to management guru Peter Drucker
(accepted by Mrs. Doris Drucker), Leadership in Training Award
to Wyeth and a special recognition of 50-year AMA member Mark
Domowne.
